National Library Foyer
A dramatic yet versatile space for launches, cocktail parties and other events.

- available weekdays after 5pm; Saturdays after 1pm; all day Sunday.
National Library Auditorium
A multi-function auditorium suitable for presentations, debates, musical performances and film screenings
- seats 200 people
- equipped with lighting, sound systems, video and data projection.
- Bechstein 6ft grand piano, 35mm film projector and Beta SP video player also available for hire
- located near Café Littera for convenient pre/post event catering
- available day or evening.
National Library Conference Room
A convenient size for large meetings or presentations.

Our staff can assist you with your catering needs. Catering for functions in our venues is provided by Compass Group.

- The National Library has a non-smoking policy, and candles are not permitted.
- There is a duty manager charge for weekend/public holiday venue hire.
- There is a separate charge for the provision and operation of equipment.
- Our staff can recommend trusted providers of extra audio-visual presentation equipment and assistance.
