Te Puna Search is a web-based search service giving access to what is held in New Zealand libraries, through two interfaces.

The New Zealand Libraries Catalogue, for the general public

Te Puna Search, for Te Puna Services members

Databases available through Te Puna Search

The New Zealand National Library Catalogue contains bibliographic records with holdings for resources held in New Zealand libraries. Many libraries are 'deeplinked' so users can click through to the local library catalogue to see whether the item is on the shelf or not. It also contains Library of Congress Subject Headings and Name Authorities. The information in the NZNUC supports the New Zealand Interloan Scheme.

Australian National Bibliographic Database operated by the National Library of Australia contains bibliographic records with holdings for resources held in Australian libraries.

OCLC WorldCat is the world’s largest network of library content and services where you can search the collections of thousands of libraries.

OCLC FirstSearch provides access to Te Puna member libraries to the Base Package of reference databases. FirstSearch includes WorldCat as well as other databases such as CAMIO and Electronic Books
