Te Puna Interloan is a web-based interloan management system for the request and supply of resources between libraries.
Te Puna Interloan allows you to:
- search the National Bibliographic Database (NBD), including the National Union Catalogue (NUC)
- search Libraries Australia (the Australian National Bibliographic Database)
- create requests that automatically include bibliographic and location data from the NBD and Libraries Australia
- select suppliers of your choice
- manage and track requests
- use the national centralised Interloan Billing System (IBS).

- a single interface to request items from New Zealand and Australian libraries
- request tracking using a Work Queue screen
- a DocStore feature that enables electronic copies of requested articles to be attached to request, hence speeding up turnaround times

- ability to initiate requests in Te Puna Search (from the NBD)
