The
Library has a Māori Subject Specialist Reference Librarian who provides advice
to individuals doing Māori research. The Māori Subject Specialist can also help
with introductory visits to the Library and its collections for individuals and
groups.
If you’re using the Alexander Turnbull Library collections, the Māori Material Coordinator can help you with your research. The Oral Historian Māori is also available to assist with oral history material in te reo Māori, to provide services in te reo Māori, and to work with groups and individuals interested in recording Māori oral history.
If these people aren’t available, any member of the Reference Services and Alexander Turnbull Library staff will be happy to help you.
