Important information about our move back to Molesworth Street
Information about unavailability of collections from Archives NZ
On 6 August 2012, the Alexander Turnbull Library Reading Rooms reopen at the Molesworth St building. All collections will be available from that date.
In preparation for this, the Alexander Turnbull Library collections and services currently available from Archives New Zealand are closed.
Until August 6, we will be unable to access the following Alexander Turnbull Library collections that were previously available from Archives NZ:
- Manuscripts Collection
- The Archive of New Zealand Music
- The Special Printed Collections
- Prints from the Evening Post, Whites Aviation, War History and War Effort photographic collections
- Oral History Collection
- Publications including the New Zealand Pamphlet Collection, Books in Māori and the Mansfield collection
- Andersen and Reed Place Names Indexes
- Dorothy Neal White Collection
- Lesbian and Gay Archives manuscripts (LAGANZ)

Services and some collections are still available at the Reading Room at 77 Thorndon Quay.
