Griffin’s Biscuit factory staff
Griffin’s claims to be the manufacturer of New Zealand’s favourite biscuits. Founded by John Griffin in 1864 the company makes some of New Zealand’s most iconic biscuits such as Cookie Bear Chocolate Chippies and Cookie Bear Shrewsbury.
This photograph shows workers at the Griffin’s factory in Lower Hutt packing water crackers in between 1940 and 1945.
