About Timeframes
The Timeframes database features images that relate to a range of topics, including geography, history, the natural environment, art, people and events.
Timeframes contains digital copies of many items from the collections, including photographs, drawings, paintings, ephemera (like posters, programmes, and advertisements), manuscripts, unpublished maps, and cartoons. There are also a small number of text items.
Each image is accompanied by a full descriptive record. Timeframes is continually being added to.
Copies of most images on Timeframes can be ordered.

Timeframes is fully searchable – browse by name, subject, place, iwi (tribe), hapū (sub-tribe) or genre.
