Customer research: Phase one report

In May 2009 the National Library of New Zealand commissioned Colmar Brunton to undertake a multistage research project in order to better understand current and future customers:

Phase 1 - 2009

Develop a clear understanding of who the National Library‟s current customers and potential customers are. Understand their broad service expectations.

Phase 2 - 2010

Validate new products and services that have been developed as a result of Phase 1. This includes an understanding of what drives demand and estimates of likely uptake.

This report presents the findings for Phase 1 of the research.
