Our exhibitions programme showcases the rich collections of the National Library, particularly those of the Alexander Turnbull Library. We also organise and tour exhibitions to museums, libraries and galleries throughout New Zealand and internationally.

Our in-house and touring exhibitions reflect our commitment to sharing our collections as widely as possible.

We work in partnership with communities to help them present their stories, using our collections as the basis of an exhibition.

The Gallery's opening hours are 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday, and 9am – 1pm Saturday. Entry to our exhibitions is free.
