This fellowship aims to encourage
scholars to use the National Library’s collections and produce publications
based on them. Usually one fellowship is awarded each year, with a value of
NZ$45,000. It lasts up to 12 months and the fellow is based mainly at the
National Library of New Zealand.
Current National Library Fellow
Wellington writer and historian Redmer Yska is the 2008 National Library Fellow. He is researching towards a social and institutional history of NZ Truth newspaper.
