School Services supports teaching and learning in New Zealand schools by:
- creating readers
- developing skilled users of information
- enhancing information services in all schools
- connecting young New Zealanders with their culture and heritage.
We do this by:
- selecting and delivering curriculum resources to schools through the Curriculum Information Service (CIS)
- providing advice on developing school library and information services through our Advisory Service. We have library advisors in 14 locations around New Zealand
- creating, and enhancing access to, online resources for New Zealand schools.
