The Minister of Internal Affairs, Hon Chris Tremain, is the Minister responsible for the National Library of New Zealand. He has been Minister of Internal Affairs since April 2012.
Tremain is also the Minister for Civil Defence. The Internal Affairs portfolio also includes responsibility for Archives New Zealand.
