The Hon Nathan Guy was appointed Minister Responsible for the National Library in June 2009.
He entered Parliament on the National Party list in 2005 as the MP for Otaki, which covers most of the Kapiti and Horowhenua districts.
The National Library portfolio complements the Hon Guy’s role as Minister Responsible for Archives New Zealand. He is also the Minister of Internal Affairs and the Associate Minister of Justice.
