How the National Preservation Office can help

The NPO can help you care for your damaged collections. We can help whether your collections are in your home or a marae, library, museum or archive.

We offer advice, training and assessments.

We can advise you on your preservation concerns, such as how to best to salvage items and what materials to use to prevent further damage.

We can train your volunteers on the best way to handle your collections.

We can visit and assess the condition of your collections and their environment.
