Donation from Wellington band

Erolia Ifopo, a support member of Fat Freddys Drop, a Wellington band, used to work in the Alexander Turnbull Library's Oral History Centre. She now generously organises donations of the band's material from time to time. Recently Ms Ifopo made a donation of backstage passes used for gigs in New Zealand and overseas.

Fat Freddys Drop was formed in 1999 by three friends: DJ Chris "Mu" Faiumu, vocalist Dallas Tamaira, and trumpeter Toby Laing. From the mid 2000s the band has toured in Europe almost every year, as well as performing in New Zealand and Australia.
