Providing support for our library and heritage colleagues in Canterbury
We are able to provide relief and assistance to libraries, galleries, museums, marae and others in Canterbury by providing practical salvage and recovery advice to those who are dealing with damaged items, such as books, papers, artworks, photographs or sound recordings.
If you need help with salvaging items that are damaged, advice on storing materials to prevent future damage, or any concerns about your collections, we’d be happy to help.
Please contact our National Preservation Office on 04 474 3066 or 0800 474 300, or email preservation@natlib.govt.nz.
