1 February 2011: The new Department and our services to you

From February 1, the National Library, the Department of Internal Affairs, and Archives New Zealand are now integrated into a new structure.

Although we've got a lot going on making many internal and administrative adjustments, you can rest assured our services to you will not be affected.

National Library and Alexander Turnbull Library services, including advisory services, Te Puna Subscriber Services, digital search and delivery, Ask a Librarian, and Services to Schools will continue to operate as usual. We expect this integration to be seamless for all our patrons and customers.

You can still reach the National Library on 04 474 3000 or 0800 474 300, and the Alexander Turnbull Library on 04 474 3120, but email addresses are changing to firstname.lastname@dia.govt.nz.
