The National Library has been seeking input from existing users and non-users to provide further information to help continue with the transformation of the National Library, which began in 2007 with the development of the New Generation Strategy.

The way we have gathered this input is through a random survey of our users and researchers. Some members of the general public who may not currently be using our services were also contacted to take part.

The questionnaire included a range of questions specifically about customers' use of the National Library and also some general questions about how they like to search for information and how they like information presented.

Research company Colmar Brunton conducted this survey for us and will now begin analysing all responses. A final report will be provided to the Library in early October.

We wish to thank everyone who participated in this important survey and appreciate the time it took to complete the questionnaire.
