From 5pm on 3 December 2009, public access to some collections will move to alternative locations while the Library's Wellington building is redeveloped.
Access to National Library General Collections
From 8 December 2009, the National Library’s General Collections will be available through a reading room at 77 Thorndon Quay, Wellington.
Access to Alexander Turnbull Library collections
From 8 December 2009 some Turnbull copied materials will be available at 77 Thorndon Quay, Wellington and from 25 February 2010, many highly-used Turnbull materials will be available at Archives New Zealand in Wellington.
