Records
In archives: material such as a letter or email or other document that 'records' a transaction. In a library catalogue or database: descriptive listing for a specific book, article, video, newspaper and so on.
Reference collection
Collection of items that contain facts, statistics, information about people, or other information useful for answering questions. Reference collections can only be used onsite in the Library.
Reference-only
Collection items that can only be used onsite in the Library.
Register
Official written record of names or events or transactions. To register is to add your name and other details to the record.
