- Records
- In archives: material such as a letter or email or other document that 'records' a transaction. In a library catalogue or database: descriptive listing for a specific book, article, video, newspaper and so on.
- Reference collection
- Collection of items that contain facts, statistics, information about people, or other information useful for answering questions. Reference collections can only be used onsite in the Library.
- Reference-only
- Collection items that can only be used onsite in the Library.
- Register
- Official written record of names or events or transactions. To register is to add your name and other details to the record.
