NUC
Acronym standing for National Union Catalogue. A subset of the National Bibliographic Database that enables you to find out which New Zealand libraries hold a particular book, magazine, CD and so on.
National Digital Heritage Archive (NDHA)
The National Digital Heritage Archive (NDHA) is the National Library's technical and business solution to preserve and provide long-term public access to its digital heritage collections to researchers, students and Library users now and in the future.
At its core, the NDHA is a digital storehouse, for websites, sound and vision files, digital images and other born-digital and digitised items that make up the Library's growing digital heritage collections.
National Library Act
The Act that governs the National Library. The National Library of New Zealand (Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa) Act 2003 replaced the National Library Act 1965.
New Zealand National Bibliography
List of books,serials, magazines, CDs, and more that have been published in New Zealand, written by New Zealanders or are about New Zealand. Most of the items have been acquired by the National Library through legal deposit.
